While we have been celebrating our 50th year of being in business, our true anniversary is this month and we celebrated on 28 July 2020. Our founder, Jacky Panjabi, has shared a history of our evolution and the continued growth in our business through a special video message. I want to take this opportunity to thank all our vendors who have trusted us and continue to do so; our resellers, partners who have continued to work with us in great friendship and last, but certainly never least, our customers who we promise to nurture, support and work with to help you achieve your business goals in every way we can.
In addition to sharing this milestone celebration, we share a few updates since our last newsletter. Last month, World Security was the first to deploy our smart helmets across Jebel Al Free Zone to help monitor traffic come into their locations post-pandemic. Our vendors are still sharing resources online and through social media – so if you need resources from BigRep check out the special e-book on how Aix-Marseille Université aerospace facility’s technology-enhanced degree program is made possible with its large-format additive manufacturing systems or how HP and 3M collaborated to create signage templates to support social distancing. We also have two e-books from Softbank on teaching students to program Nao. We also have a small story on how Zund won special recognition from BAE Systems in the UK.
