Welcome back to a brand-new year and while there are alarm bells ringing despite the vaccine, we still see bright rays of hope as businesses continue to adapt and change.
We recently hosted a couple of media to introduce our extended robot range that now includes, in addition to Pepper and Nao from Softbank Robotics, Temi, Double 3 (now available for consumers through Jacky’s Electronics outlets both offline and online), as well as hospitality robots from Pudu Robotics. January saw several useful webinars from our vendors – all aimed at helping their customers get the most out of their machines. HP hosted a special series to highlight some of its powerful tools for the interior décor sector that can be seen on its virtual booth. Zund too highlighted its new product options in a series of innovation webinars and are planning to host a series around applications and materials starting with one on 4 & 5 February with 3A Composites.
I joined the team at Canon for an online panel around the wide-format printing industry as part of its participation in Sign & Graphic Imaging (SGI) where it had a virtual booth.
