Jacky’s Business Solutions participated in MILSET ESI 2019 last month (22-28 September) to showcase some of its educational tools including humanoid robots, Pepper and Nao, and MakerBot and samples of 3D printed objects.
MILSET-ESI 2019 was brought by The Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET), established under the directive of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. ACTVET establishes policies and standards that effectively regulate technical and vocational educational institutions in the emirate of Abu Dhabi to boost training and educational opportunities for young Emiratis.
The event provided Jacky’s team the opportunity to interact with the student and teaching community of vocational schools across not just UAE but from visitors from 50 countries and across 13 different scientific disciplines.
“Education is a key area of growth for us and our vendors and we have a wide range of solutions to help this sector from Pepper and Nao that can help make learning easier to 3D printers like MakerBot that unleash a lot of creativity to Microsoft Surface devices that is an increasingly important tool in a digital world,” said Ashish Panjabi, COO at Jacky’s Business Solutions.
