Intersec remains one of the most influential platforms for the security industry across the Middle East and Africa. While known primarily as a security exhibition, the event increasingly reflects how adjacent technologies, from digital signage to advanced control room displays, support safer, more connected urban and enterprise environments.
For Hikvision, Intersec offered an opportunity to demonstrate the growing role of visual technologies in mission-critical settings, and to highlight its partnership with Jacky’s Business Solutions as its system integrator, is enabling organisations across the region to adopt more capable and efficient display ecosystems.
A Strategic Presence in a Regional Marketplace
Hikvision’s participation stems from a simple reality: organisations across the region continue to look for more integrated ways to visualise data, manage operations and support real-time decision making.
Sachin Srinivasan, Commercial Display Sales Director for MEA Region at Hikvision, said, “Although Intersec is not an AV-specific event, the demand for advanced control room environments makes it an increasingly relevant stage for the company’s commercial display portfolio. With visitors from across the GCC, Levant and Africa, the exhibition brings together the full ecosystem of manufacturers, distributors, system integrators and end-users, making it a valuable environment for Hikvision to demonstrate both technology leadership and practical deployment pathways.”
Where Demand Is Growing
During the interview with Srinivasan at Intersec, Hikvision highlighted strong momentum in LED display technologies, a category where Jacky’s Business Solutions is seeing increasing requests for integrated, large-format installations.
Hikvision works with Jacky’s Business Solutions to integrate its commercial display range in the UAE, designing, deploying and supporting its solutions including LED walls, indoor and outdoor LED signage, LCD video walls, interactive displays and complete control room environments, for customers across multiple verticals.
As the authorised system integrator, Jacky’s supports its customers across multiple sectors, including banking, oil and gas, retail, transportation and education. These industries increasingly depend on high-resolution environments to visualise operations, monitor assets, and communicate more effectively with staff and the public.
Control Rooms at the Centre of Intersec
A focal point at Hikvision’s stand at Intersec this year was its latest control room display technology, including a 0.7mm pixel-pitch LED screen showing both a live control room dashboard and native 8K content. This illustrates how visual requirements continue to evolve: organisations want greater clarity, more density of information and a seamless operator experience.
Alongside this, Hikvision exhibited digital signage screens and LED posters that can be used individually or linked to create larger temporary display surfaces — a useful capability for venues such as hotels, malls and event spaces. The adaptability of these solutions reflects the broader trend: customers want technologies that scale with changing operational needs rather than fixed, single-purpose installations.
Why an End-to-End Ecosystem Matters
One theme that stood out in the discussion was Hikvision’s emphasis on providing a complete solution for control rooms — from displays and controllers to the video management platform. This reduces the complexity often associated with multi-vendor environments and gives organisations a consistent experience across their visual infrastructure.
For Jacky’s Business Solutions, this is an important advantage. It helps focus on system design, workflow integration and long-term performance, rather than navigating fragmented components. In practical terms, customers benefit from a smoother deployment process and a solution that is easier to maintain over time.
A Growing Opportunity for the Region
As organisations across the Middle East continue their Digital Evolution, demand for high-performance display environments – from command centres to public-facing signage – is expanding. The collaboration between Hikvision and Jacky’s Business Solutions is well-positioned to support this shift with solutions that are technically advanced yet operationally grounded.
Intersec underscored a simple truth: the future of security, operations and enterprise communication increasingly depends on the ability to see more, understand more and act faster. And that requires not just powerful display technology, but the right partnerships to implement it effectively.
