From the COO’s Desk: Building Confidence in a Changing Landscape

As we move further into 2026, one theme continues to define conversations with our customers across the UAE and wider GCC: confidence.

Confidence in technology decisions. Confidence in operational resilience. Confidence that every investment in systems, automation or infrastructure will deliver measurable, practical value.

This month’s stories reflect how organisations across sectors are approaching their digital evolution with that mindset.

In the public sector, Khor Fakkan Municipality  has introduced AI-enabled camera recognition to better understand citizen sentiment in real time. Rather than relying on assumptions or incomplete surveys, the Municipality now has actionable insight into service experience — enabling teams to refine processes and respond proactively. It is a reminder that digital evolution is not about complexity; it is about clarity.

In manufacturing, we see a similar shift towards precision and resilience. From large-format industrial 3D printing  that accelerates gasket production to structured maintenance strategies that protect cutting performance, the focus is firmly on uptime, quality and long-term competitiveness. Technology here is not experimental — it is embedded into daily operations, driving tangible business outcomes.

Automation across the GCC is also evolving. With the launch of our Robot Rentals  service, organisations can now adopt robotics through flexible, subscription-based models. This lowers barriers to entry and allows businesses to test, scale and refine automation strategies in real-world environments before committing to long-term expansion. It reflects a broader regional trend towards commercially sound innovation.

At the same time, digital evolution is not limited to heavy industry or automation. Whether through intelligent device vending systems that streamline IT operations, immersive LED  displays that transform hospitality environments, or enterprise-ready Surface deployments  supporting hybrid teams, operational improvements often begin with refining everyday processes.

Beyond technology deployments, we remain committed to strengthening the ecosystem that surrounds them. Our sponsorship of the Female Fusion Awards  highlights the importance of supporting emerging founders who are building the next generation of UAE enterprises. Behind every business scaling sustainably is a thoughtful approach to tools, systems and infrastructure.

Across all these initiatives, one principle remains consistent: technology must serve a clear business purpose. It must simplify operations, strengthen governance, improve customer experience or unlock new growth opportunities. If it does not deliver practical benefit, it is simply noise.

As always, our role is to support organisations with the right expertise, the right partnerships and the right long-term perspective. We approach every engagement not as a product supplier, but as a solutions partner focused on measurable outcomes.

I invite you to explore the full stories in this month’s newsletter and connect with our teams if any of these developments align with your current priorities.

Warm regards,

Ashish Panjabi
