Caldera RIP Version 17.3 now supports Ubuntu 24.04 “Noble Numbat”, ensuring enhanced performance and stability. Ubuntu 22.04 “Jammy Jellyfish” remains compatible until 2027. This update also includes 10 new drivers, expanding support to devices like Epson Sure Color P20500/P5300, Roland Versa OBJECT MO-240, Mutoh XpertJet series, and various cutters including Liyu, Saga, Secabo, and Mimaki CFX. Caldera continues to collaborate closely with manufacturers for seamless integration into production environments.
CalderaRIP Version 17.3 brings enhanced Hotfolder capabilities exclusively for CalderaCare subscribers. New sorting algorithms include options like “fastest first out” and numeric/alphanumeric sorting, offering users greater workflow flexibility. Print operators benefit from simplified processes with the ability to disable multi-layer printing and new orientation marks for cut jobs on rigid media. Improved workflow organization with a tag system and overall performance enhancements ensure a smoother user experience.
