On the invitation of the Japanese Consulate, we participated in Sharjah Book Fair (Oct 31 – Nov 10) in 2018 in the Japanese pavilion, to showcase Softbank’s robots: Pepper and Nao at the event.

A large number of visitors interacted with both robots. Students had the opportunity to learn how the humanoid robots can help to improve our day to day life, and the potential benefits of this technology. Consulate-General of Japan, Mr. Akima Umezawa, attended the presentation and appreciated Jacky’s role in promoting Japanese technology in region.
