Jacky’s Business Solutions has partnered with Blueiot to offer high-accuracy real-time location systems to customers across the UAE.
The partnership brings together Blueiot’s indoor positioning technology and Jacky’s local experience in automation, systems integration and customer delivery. The solutions will support organisations that need continuous visibility of people, assets and vehicles within complex indoor environments.
Potential applications include hospitals, government facilities, smart buildings, manufacturing operations, logistics centres and large campuses.
Adding location to existing systems
Many organisations already use queue management, visitor management, access control and customer journey systems. These platforms can record when someone checks in, takes a ticket or passes through a controlled entrance. They cannot always show where that person is now or how they are moving through the facility.
The location layer provided by Blueiot helps close this gap.
For example, a hospital queue system may confirm that a patient has registered, but it may not show whether the patient has reached the correct department, whether a consultation room is occupied or where delays are developing.
Similarly, an RFID gate may record that an asset passed a particular point at a particular time. A real-time location system provides continuous visibility of its current position.
Finding people and assets when they’re needed
The operational problem is often straightforward. Organisations cannot quickly find their people, equipment or inventory.
In healthcare, clinical teams may lose valuable time searching for wheelchairs, infusion pumps, portable monitors and other equipment. Assets can remain unused in one part of a hospital while another department believes more equipment is needed.
In manufacturing and logistics, limited location visibility can lead to misplaced inventory, longer dwell times and safety risks where vehicles and people operate in the same areas.
Smart buildings may also have meeting rooms, workspaces and facilities that are paid for but not used effectively because occupancy patterns are unclear.
Blueiot’s technology uses Bluetooth Angle of Arrival positioning, with anchors, tags, a positioning engine and an open API. It can provide sub-metre indoor accuracy, allowing location information to be integrated into wider operational and management systems.
Local implementation and support
Jacky’s will manage the customer relationship, solution design, system integration, customisation and local delivery.
Its UAE-based teams will also support requirements such as equipment approvals, local certification, site conditions and customer procurement processes. Blueiot will focus on the underlying location technology and product development.
This division of responsibilities gives customers access to specialist technology without losing the local implementation and ongoing support required for a successful deployment.
Opportunities across the region
Smart buildings and campuses are expected to be important areas for the partnership. Incorporating location infrastructure during the design and construction stage can be more practical than adding it later.
Once installed, the same location layer can support occupancy analysis, space utilisation, wayfinding, visitor journeys, asset management and safety applications. On large campuses, it can also contribute to evacuation planning and duty-of-care procedures.
Healthcare is another priority, with potential applications including equipment tracking, patient flow, operating theatre utilisation and mother-and-infant matching.
Through the partnership, Jacky’s Business Solutions can develop and support applications involving the real-time indoor location of people, assets and vehicles, adapting the technology to the requirements of each customer and environment.
