Jacky’s and temi put robots to work at FHS

Visitors to the Future Hospitality Summit encountered robotics in action as Jacky’s Business Solutions collaborated with temi to demonstrate practical applications for hospitality and events.

Held at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, from 29 September to 1 October 2026, the event provided a setting to show how mobile robots can support information delivery, visitor engagement and event promotion.

The deployment included two temi V3 robots operating across the event area and a temi Robocore Fourcast advertising robot in the reception hallway. Each had a distinct role, demonstrating how different robotic platforms can contribute to the visitor experience.

Information on the move

The two temi V3 robots navigated autonomously around the event area, serving as mobile information assistants and providing event-related information to attendees.

For event organisers and hospitality operators, this illustrates an application beyond a fixed information desk. A mobile robot can bring information into the spaces where guests gather, creating another point of contact as people move through a venue.

Potential applications include sharing programme information, helping visitors find their way and answering routine enquiries, depending on the content and configuration developed for the venue.

A mobile platform for event promotion

In the reception hallway, the temi Robocore Fourcast advertising robot displayed FHS branding and promotional content, adding a mobile digital display to the event’s communications.

This demonstrated a different role for robotics: carrying event messages into visitor areas. For conferences, exhibitions and hospitality venues, potential uses include promoting activities, displaying venue information and giving sponsors another way to reach attendees.

Matching the robot to the task

The FHS showcase brought together two complementary applications: mobile information assistance and digital advertising.

For businesses considering service robotics, the practical question is where a robot can make a useful contribution. That could be supporting guest enquiries, delivering information or helping visitors navigate an unfamiliar environment.

Jacky’s collaboration with temi at FHS demonstrated how these applications can be explored in a working event setting, with different robots assigned to specific tasks.
