A robot helping visitors at an event, a laptop supporting demanding AI work and a maintenance contract keeping production equipment supported may seem like very different stories. For our customers, they come back to a shared question: what will this technology help us do, and what will it take to make it work reliably?
This month’s updates offer several ways to explore that question.
At the Future Hospitality Summit , our collaboration with temi put temi V3 robots to work as mobile information assistants, while a temi Robocore Fourcast advertising robot carried event branding and promotional content in the reception hallway. Giving each robot a defined role made it easier to see where it could contribute to an event or hospitality setting.
Our showcase at Abu Dhabi University’s education conference opened a different conversation. Pepper from Softbank Robotics, temi, KettyBot from Pudu Robotics and Kebbi from Nuwa Robotics gave educators an opportunity to consider applications ranging from interactive learning and coding to remote participation and campus services. The next step for an institution is to identify a useful task, then plan the content, staff preparation and support around it.
In business computing, our participation in Microsoft Surface Reseller Connect supported discussions about the regional outlook and planning for the coming year. Surface Laptop Ultra, now available in the region, also gives developers and creative teams another option for local AI and graphics-intensive work. Choosing the right configuration starts with understanding the applications and projects it will need to support.
We are looking ahead to GITEX Global in December, where our Samsung showcase will bring together business smartphones, foldables, tablets and rugged devices alongside Knox solutions. Our team will discuss how device selection, configuration, security and ongoing management fit together for organisations across hospitality, retail, logistics and field operations.
For print businesses, ONYX 25.5 is available immediately, with new tools for specialty ink preparation, colour matching and production workflows. These updates give customers an opportunity to review where software can help address recurring production challenges.
Ongoing equipment care is equally important. Our first Zünd G3 annual maintenance contract in Kuwait, supporting a key customer, brings together planned servicing, remote technical assistance and operator refresher training. It reflects the value of having a clear support framework around equipment that businesses depend on every day.
Across these stories, our role is to help customers make informed choices and put the right implementation and support in place. I hope you find an idea relevant to your own operations in this month’s updates.
If you are planning to attend GITEX, we would welcome a conversation at Hall S19, Stand H19-5, Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, from 8 to 11 December.
Warm regards
