Welcome to the busiest quarter in the year traditionally but it appears that this quarter is unlike any we have seen for some time. Good news for businesses but this also stretches your resources. Gitex was really productive (it usually is) and we had some interesting conversations around the solutions we were showcasing there. In addition to some of the new vendors we had on board, our team also took part in several panel discussions on three different Tech Talks stages during the week.
Leading up to Gitex, we hosted a short survey to understand how you manage your smartphones in your business in terms of technology and deployment. As a way to thank you for taking the time, we put all those that took the survey into a draw to win a Samsung Galaxy A-series phone and the winner is Philip Whitaker, Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. One of the products at Gitex was Temi. Temi has now teamed up with Scratch to create a collaborative robot for teaching coding in schools or academia.
We have two more vendor announcements: Flexa has partnered with PrintFactory to boost production flow and BigRep has shared a piece on how to create Channel Letters using 3D printing.
