Gitex is a busy month and this year the event was spectacularly busy. While we no longer participate directly, a lot of our technology was on display on our partners and customers stands. Our COO, however, was on a special retail panel at Gitex Tech Talks talking about robotics in this sector.
Our Temi personal robot was in demand and was on display at our partners’ stand, Mindfire, one of the top system integrators in the UAE providing IT infrastructure solutions and specialised in IT security area. Pepper from Softbank Robotics and Temi robots were used to demonstrate about the services rendered by Mindfire technology to their enterprise customers.
Temi and D3 telepresence robots were also present at the Cisco stand at Gitex, where they were used with the Webex platform for video calling. In addition to the great features of the platform, both the robots could add another layer of convenience by giving the user the ability to move the robot around for a 360 degree perspective of the virtual meeting.
In addition, our vendor partners, Pudu Robotics were at Rashid Hall showcasing the Bellabot, Pudubot and Kettybot robots.
The icing on our presence at Gitex was the special award from Ajman Government for our long association with them, providing them with the visitor management tools they needed in the various departments across the Emirate.
