Welcome to the 2023! We hope that the New Year has, so far, fulfilled all the promise that the start of a year brings.

We have had a pretty decent start to the new year. CNN Business Arabic just launched and included a special report on how Pepper helps in old age care. I also contributed to articles on AGBI on what the future of retail holds as well as what the new Dubai customs rules meant for us in the retail sector.

At Jacky’s Business, we have been quite busy. We have a couple of customer stories: one from BurJuman who installed one of our bespoke LED screens for their holiday promotions at the mall, and BFL who leveraged our WeClean solution for their new Motor City mall.

We took part (or rather our robots did) in two events – one with RiverPay to help them highlight their new payment solutions for the hospitality sector and one with Roboday where the discussion was about leveraging robotics for the good of the business. Zund installed a digital cutting system that tackles all kinds of fabrics while saving costs in terms of efficiency and space.
